Garden Food Festival
The tastiest festival of food and drink in Moravia!
Garden Food Festival is a regional festival of good food and drink aimed at showing the general public that the Olomouc, Zlín and Moravian-Silesian regions have many fine restaurants and chefs who enjoy their work and do it well. We support local producers and farmers, regional foods and brands, tourism in the city and countryside, and we promote culinary tourism. We highlight new trends in food, demonstrate interesting concepts and showcase top chefs.
Cooking show on stage
An attractive part of the festival is an all-day cooking show on stage, with TV chef Zdeněk Pohlreich as the headliner. Visitors can also meet him and other prominent figures on the Czech culinary scene such as actress and writer Markéta Hrubešová, Michelin-star chef Radek Kašpárek, Asian cuisine specialist Kamila "Kamu" Rundusová and many other chefs from regional and well-known domestic restaurants.
The programme on stage will also include the portioning of large fish, a fiery hot pepper show and other interesting culinary presentations.
A festival showcasing restaurants and regional products
All the festivals will feature dozens of fine restaurants, good pubs and bistros from the region. Visitors can get acquainted with interesting culinary concepts from across the country and even learn about food customs in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Poland, Italy and Slovakia. Food trucks will also arrive with exotic treats.
As we focus on the promotion of regional foods and products, there will be many local specialities from farms, products from local cheese-makers, butchers, bakers, confectioners, coffee roasters and the best beers from microbreweries and large breweries.
The festival grounds will also offer an attractive program for the whole family, including workshops and fun attractions for children.
The list of exhibitors at each festival is available here.
